Hes a Northern blue Tongue Skinknever thought about other people messing with him or the exhaust issue either, actually. for training i could coerce my brother into watching him... I was trying to find out if anyone had any first hand experience taking a reptile along but really probly not the best idea.
Would any OTR places allow a pet reptile to ride along

outside of cats and dogs I think you're gonna have a hard time finding a company allowing anything else. I have seen a driver or two with a bird, cage strapped right onto the passenger seat but the problem you may run into is now you're dealing with an exotic animal. aside from what was posted above about the habitat and maintaining it at a constant temperature, also being in a truck is nothing like being in a room with loud music, those things bounce a lot, and certain cities/towns have certain animals that are restricted to keep there, but no clue how that would affect a driver and any pet they might have on them. I think most companies to just save themselves the trouble would just say no and stick to cats and dogs.
altho it would be awesome to have a lizard on the truck lol, I've had beardies, dart frogs, boas, ball pythons and geckos.... this was back when I was a vet tech student before I became a truck driver so that was kinda self explanatory lolNightwind8830 Thanks this. -

I had a friend at one company who suddenly became deathly sick, several times, after changing trucks. He would end up in the hospital for several days each time. The doctors couldn't figure out what was going on.
Finally they narrowed it down to some sort of allergic reaction to the oils on the skin of iguanas.
It turned out the driver who had the truck he was driving before had several pet iguanas he carried in the truck, against company policy.
The company denied knowing anything about it, even though that previous driver had been in an accident where the reporting cop had stated in the accident report 'when I opened the door to the truck lizards, ran out of it'.
Keep your @#$% strange pets home, or buy your own #### truck. -
Until you posted the picture, I thought you meant your boyfriend.

thats a weird scenario where lizards ran loose in the truck, doesnt match what I was asking, re-read the post and do some research on the specific animal before posting.
