My point was that when posting helpful information about companies please take the time to make it readable. The orginal post was like deciphering code.

 

Wow you mean I can earn a whole 88 cents per mile while leasing a truck and pretending to be an owner operator and my own boss? Where do I sign up?

There use to be a Company out of Fort Scott KS. Way back in the 1980's, that burned alot of drivers with that (lease) deal, and from what I heard to FED'S finally shut them down. I think their name was Midwestern Distribution and they pulled a lot of (Lease-way) trailers.

 

It was Midwestern Distribution. Their slogan was "A Buck For A Truck" All it took was one dollar to get you an ugly cabover Freightliner, with as best I can remember, a neon colored stripe across the front and down the sides. Ran with one of their guys one night. His co-driver quit on him, but the company was still dispatching him as a team, as that was what they wanted driving. He was trying to get a load close enough to the terminal to leave the truck.
