If I log SB while being unloaded, will that count toward my 30 minute break I must take within the first 8 hrs on duty? And is that a legal option (to log in SB while being loaded or unloaded)?

Sleeper Berth for the break is the same for the 30 minutes.

(ii) Rest breaks. After June 30, 2013, driving is not permitted if more than 8 hours have passed since the end of the driver's last off-duty or sleeper-berth period of at least 30 minutes.

I don't know what rule I think is stupider the 30 minute break of the new reset. I know the 30 minute break causes me more of a headache, but the reset is more confusing to drivers.
