Got that right i hear they have a few hundred trucks still in the system that are the blue with APUs and inverters. I know its makes a world of differnce in comfort. There are a few companies in my area that I think I can get on with if this does not pan out. I might have to take a few cpm mile cut but so be it. I had a offer to drive for Heart land before I didnt want it then and still dont. So I dont see that happening.

    good night all.

This thread has given me the chills last few days. This past year I was part of a merger. It sucks. I stared at my Qcomm for week hoping it was some sick joke. These never turn out well for the company being taken over.

Well, hopefully this won't change soon. This week, I deadheaded out of Russellville, AR to Rogers, AR. Picked up and ran to Woodburn, OR and DH to Kennewick, WA for Oakland, CA, ran to Lathrop and rescued one to Rancho for around 3700 for the week. Picking up tomorrow in Delano for Sumner next week. Keeping the fingers crossed.

It will take a year for any real changes here at GTI with Heartland now in the captain's chair. It will take at least 4 years to cycle through the GTI fleet and get Heartland trucks. Don't get excited just yet, it'll take a while for things to go the heartland way. GTI is a big fleet. They can't just come in and start going nuts. It'll disrupt both companies and not work well.

Doing the fruits and nuts run? ****

**** the crops not the people. Delano is in the middle of the citrus, table grape/raisin and nut growing area of Cali.
