I am just trying to find out plans for wannabes. I am going to a Community College in January to obtain my CDL. How is it going for the rest of you?

Youve got a long road ahead of you grasshopper. Mind if I ask where you're attending CDL school? Name of the college that is?

At least he has said it is a Community College, I went to a Community College, I am a bit partial to that plan, The CC I went to later closed down the program and sold off their trucks, We had 3 guys out of 7 who was in my class to fall out in the first week, then we had a guy that just could not pass the questions as if it wasn't studying the right information, but he was not to blame, he was working crazy hours as a Construction zone guy where he stands there and flips the signs, In AZ this is a certified position, You have to have the certificate to do this... I'm not sure what school he went to for that. but back to the OP's quest, You being in NC I would certainly look into Watkins and Shepard but since they told me when I left that they would hire me back but now I check with them they tell me they can't let me come back to work for them... Which is it? But I have to say this before I post this, Wherever you go, Stay their, there are really no excuses to you leaving unless these two, Someone in a truck tries to kill you and the checks don't clear the bank then you have reason to get out of there, I wish you luck. Be safe remember everything you have learned and then try to pack the rest into your head! I am sure you will do well.
