How long was your probation? That has to be completed before the charge is dismissed. Once you have that cleared then you should be good to go. There's no beating the system so I hope you quit for good if you are serious about trucking.
Another thing you need to check on that permit. I see you got it back in March. Some states they are good for 6 months, some 12 months. Double check with your state's website. -
Somebody will reply with something more solid....but until then get on the phone and start calling companies and tell them right away your situation.
queensboi Thanks this. -
It's a drug charge that's less than 3 years old. Even very experienced guys that have gotten a drug charge has a hard time finding employment.
Tonythetruckerdude, queensboi and jbatmick Thank this. -
Joe's correct. You might be able to find " somebody " that will hire you. But it Will Not be a preferred company.

I am not exactly sure how it works, but I know someone that something similar happened to him. He went to a lawyer and paid around $1,500 if I remember correctly, and he had it taken off his record. There was a process to this; it did not happen instantly, and the rules of your state may or may not be similar. This was in Pa.
It might be wise to look into that if you seriously want to earn a living in this industry. -
Joseph1135 summed it all up in this thread... http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...23528-dui-drug-felony-and-trucking-facts.html .joseph1135 Thanks this. -
