.21 per mile plus $55 daily per diem pay

    I was offered this today by small carrier, about 3500-4000miles per trip, thoughts???

    Just say no...perdiem is theft .. they are not giving you anything...

    It messes up your social security and taxes.

    The reason companies do this is to lower their own payroll tax responsibility

    .21/mile is what I started at with Wolding back in 93. I think I would move on.

    Pretty sure he means per week.

    I was paid on a % formula and made $.17 to $.23 a mile in 1984... Id pass on that job unless your family is starving, about to be kicked out of your house and nobody else will hire you.

    WI to WA bouncing out west and back...Its just a part time but it sounds a little weird...since I would be casual, no bennies.

    well hell if you cant find anything else you could give the casual work a try,its easy to find a job when you already have one.

    Oh hell no, .21 a mile is insulting to say the least. I only have a years experience and I make .42 per mile.

    Pass on that.
