    Mickey, you are welcome :biggrin_25522:

Spoke to my DBL tonight, she was concerned that some drivers weren't happy and wanted to leave the account and asked me if any had said anything to me. They haven't, but she is afraid she is gonna lose some drivers, so I put in a good word for ya, LOL. I would expect a call within the next couple of weeks.

This is just a little warning...but if you ever go to Mars Petfood in Columbia, SC...please watch out when you get on their extremely narrow scale...i busted a tire and bent a rim...and now thats an accident on my record smh...The shipping lady came out and told me that it has happened three times this week alone..and it happens on a regular basis

Lemme ask you, are they attentive to issues and seek to correct them or give an actual answer? not just something to placate, but a real answer whether you like that answer or not?

Honestly, the DBL we have is probably the best I have had here. She listens and does everything she can to help. Biggest problem with the account is Goodyear not having loads ready on time. Not much she can do about that. It does happen, usually on Mondays or Fridays, and the problem is, most customers won't take the load late, so if GY is behind, you can't deliver. She is trying to work with them to get the loads ready the day prior, but GY has NO ROOM at all in their yard and they don't have room for full trailers sitting around. That is really the only issue I have had since I have been on the account.

As far as the other guy, she told me about him to, I would expect you will both be getting a call. I guess some drivers just can't handle getting up that early. And they are complaining that they have to drive a whooping 200 miles(that is the longest load) unload and drive back. Don't see what their problem is, that is what you have to do LOL, they all knew that before getting on the account.

thats funny, "I have to drive round trip AND unload?" I f I can drive less and make the same , its a no brainer!!! Big plus is the labor. Getting waaay to giggly around the middle!!!
Geez, I'd be #####in if that was a regular load on JCP. I look for 400-500 miles per day AND unload upto 4 stops. Good one for me is to drive 4 hours to start then the time between stops and 4 back. Long day but maxes me out.

So on the delayed undeliverable loads, where does that leave a driver on that days pay?

FYI, longest load is 200 miles, one way, so 400 round trip, it is the load I took today. I left at about 4am and was back at 4pm. Most loads are between 200 and 350 round trip.

As far as pay, you get your experience driver pay just for showing up for work(it isn't much) but if you can't deliver your load, you get put in for layover pay, $65. And, sometimes the dbl may have a local load for you to pull to make some extra money that day. Honestly it sucks when you can't take your load because you lose money. We do have weekend loads come up to if you wanna make some extra. That is my one and only complaint, but it really isn't SNI's fault. Goodyear is really.....well.....unorganized.

cant hurt. You'll have the copies of the bills too for location and save that page of your pumpkin pad too. DBL can always retrieve that info too from your load history. This is a note that should be sent on the assignment for future pick ups. Suggest that to your DBL as well.

Heard from your DBL yet? they will tell you what and where etc.

any open lots near there? I wonder if they might be willing to rent one out and have a shuttle driver? As long as it can be secured. But if they (sni) are making the effort to pay the layover , coupled with the daily just show up pay AND something local or short? I'd be good with that I think. IF they couldnt come up with anything, there is PLENTY to get done around here.

My main two reasons for wanting to switch are a more conducive schedule as far as off time with the GF's and the unload labor for excersize. Pay is similar enough that the 4k less a year top out difference is worth it between the two accounts.
