26 cpm is pretty much the standard pay for many starter companies..Werner is alittle less then that,I think 24 or 25 cpm but they do hire out of Florida. They have a terminal in Lakeland.Your hubby won't get rich with Werner but there's not a perfect starter company which explains the high turnover rate.I drove for Werner for 3 yrs.Not sure how the freight is in Florida so you may wana ask Werner how easy it is to get hubby home.

Werner isn't much less then 26 cpm but CRST is because that's a team operation. No way no how would I ever team.To make that a success both pays needs to go into the same account. It also matters if the company gives drivers consistant miles. You can make say 40 cpm but if you don't receive the miles to go with it then the pay means nothing.

Why does that matter? LOL I am just asking for typical job salary ranges. If he went to Walmart and worked, we would at least know the salary range for that position, that is why I am asking. Or if he was a nurse the salary range for that...etc...

How much does Werner pay when student is with instructor for 90 days 350 then 400 a week
-
That's during the training phase of your career.Does Conway start out at 26 cpm during training?Im not saying Conway is a bad company, they're probably one of the best starter companies. But 26 cpm is standard for starter companies. Not many pay well below that unless you're teaming. Then simple math would tell you to look elsewhere.

First yr 35k to 40 k ...... by 3 rd yr 50 to 60 if your husband becomes a instructor in his 3 rd yr shuld be 60 to 70 k ......

But to answer your question,Werner back then started out at 350 a week for 2 weeks then received 50 more the next couple weeks and alittle bit more the remainder of your training.I do feel the training pay sucks because those trainees work hard and many times harder then the trainer.

When I got into trucking in 2009, my first year gross wage was $42,000. I started at .30 a mile, drove the 48 States and was home 4 days a month on average.
From the sound of your first post about what your husband's expectations are regarding home time, he will be hard pressed to gross 25k to 30k his first year.
