I have a 8 position tpms made by tst(tstruck.com), which constantly monitors tire pressure and temperature. I have been impressed with the system, can really see the effect temp has on tire pressure. I would recommend this system. It comes with 8 sensors and a display that mounts on the dash and cycles through the system showing psi and temp of each tire. They have systems from 6 to 28 positions. My system cost me about $400 but has been worth it. It does work!!!
Cat eye pressure monitors. Good or bad?

as far as the tire inflation systems go mine has no problems keeping up with a slow leak i haven't had a puncture yet that the system couldn't keep up with. but obviously wouldn't keep up with a golf ball size hole.
after having my truck shut off for a couple days with a slow leak in one of my trailer tires, my super single was just about sitting on the rim, tire was fully inflated in about 10-15 mins after supplying are to the trailer. -
@Striker and Dirtybob
I have the Wabco TMPS system and it works brilliantly.
We have had a few colder nights lately(around freezing) and the system shows the dropp in pressure(as the tires cools overnight the pressure dropps as the volume in air decreases)
You can even see the pressure increase after you have loaded.(a loaded tire heats up and thus makes the pressure increase as the air inside heats up)
I do agree that there are many poorly made/designed systems out there.
The choice off system is vital.
Those pressure inflation systems,i have only 1 problem with.
While they will keep a tire aired up ,they do not show that there is a problem with a tire. -
Cetane+ Thanks this.

Couldn't imagen life without it now.
But like i said before........you need a good system to start with.
One thing you should remember, that some TMPS system don't measure pressure but the diameter off the wheel.
So in fact they are not real TMPS systems.(from what i have been told,a lot off systems on cars are made like that) -
fliteline, you might have to poke around on the site as they have recently changed it. try calling 770-889-9102, ask for Mike, who is tech assistance from 1pm to midnight. i have pics of my install available if i can figure out how to post.
oops!! typed wrong site. its tsttruck.com. sorry, bad fingers!!! -
To post pics, MSFT 7 and 8 has an app under 'Miscellaneous'. It's called Snipping Tool and it takes a highlighted area of any image on your screen and you can save it to Desktop. From there the TTR attachment tool can pull it up and you can post the image.Windows XP has a free add-on of the same app you can download from MSFT.

Just ordered the TST system with 6 sensors for $244.14 and free shipping from Ryder Fleet Products. When you order, whatever size, put TST10OFF in the promo code box for 10% off. Now with 3 year warranty and free shipping this month.

I bought the TST system couple of months ago for the tractor and trailer.
So far kinda regret spending the money and considering trying to return it.
Been a real pill to get it to pick up the sensor reading on all the tires. And atleast once a day (usually several times a day) gives me alarms of no reading on a sensor.
One time it had a tire going flat and it was due to the senson leaking.
But because I think it's a great price for a system to monitor the tires and tire pressure is very important to me, I'm gona keep playing with the system and try get the bugs out for now.
Also forgot to mention, over christmas, the monitor went out. Which they did replace, once I sent the old one in. I think it might of gotten to cold with truck park over the holidays.
I would've posted this earlier, but I figured the thread had died.
