at the risk of you being mad at me...i would fire you if you are a company driver....do you do any damage to the air bags??? or the tires?? thats why a lot of companies dont have dump valves on company trks.....

Good lawyer should be able to get the fine reduced if you have a good record but still gona cost you a pretty penny.

Also probably a good time to get a pilot light installed showing when the switch is dumped. That much overweight on one axle had to be hard on the axle and tires.

WOW!!! Every scale I've been in let you reweigh.
    What state?
I have never seen a ticket that high for not being over gross. My last one was 2,400lbs over on my spread in OH it was only $220

Yikes, there is the legal groups, that represent the trucker, this should be a slam dunk. You forgot to flip the valve, while it was dangerous and should not have happened, It did happen and the guys in the shack should have seen that, I'm not sure what the judge will say but the best thing is to present the facts, it is written to give you the benefit of the doubt! I wish you much luck. Maybe someone will be along who has used these legal programs. Let us know how it goes.
