Leaving for Orientation 10-13-12 in Tulsa,Ok

That is play by play of the situation I was in Friday morning. About the time I checked in to Nucor in Memphis I got a message saying they would work me in. I sent my I was going to be late message in Birmingham and got a response in Memphis. But that's no biggie because I know she is dealing with a lot of new drivers and probably never slows down.

 

Had a really good week. 3100 paid miles. Had a Load out of WA. Over loaded me and had to drive 40 back and have it fixed. Then off to Eau Claire WI. Ran my hours and had 1 hour left on my 70. Funny thing. I didn't hit one open scale the whole way. Got here a day early so finishing up my 34. Its cold and snowing

 

I am still in laredo with a nebraska load for monday.

Azcannon, Good to hear you made it home for the holiday. I was deadheaded home Monday after calling empty in Detroit. I had put in for Wed hometime after 8 wks out; I'll take the extra day and a half, but won't like the pay check next week. lol. Going to make a shorter time out this time to try and get home just before Christmas and then out right after New Year's. My son graduates college in Dec., doesn't have a line on a job yet, so look at him going out for a couple of weeks so he can see a bit of the states and have some quality time together before life takes over for him. Hope everyone who wanted to be home gets there. Be safe and looking forward to the push before the end of the year.
