Although I cannot be certain--Syracuse to Carlisle is a turn--and Im sure it is line haul xtra for somebody--and there are a few there--but--since most of that moves at night--you arent going to have ANYTHING to worry about up and back on 81 after dark in terms of DOT--PA only does nite set ups during their own blitz in the pickle parks--and the 2 so called NY scales on 81---I have never seen open after dark--which I just confirmed w/ my buddy who does a turn and then a relay 5 nights a week tween Allentown and syracuse--he has NEVER seen NY open after dark--so take it for what thats worth--LOL
Course I am only talking about DOT trouble--as for the weather--POS road--and Super truckers--have a ball

When you hook to a set with a twin screw, make sure your mud flaps clear the landing gear when turning.

It's round trip 6 days a week or until we run out on 70 and need a longer break. Should be 9 hours round trip, plus pre, post, drop and hook in the middle, should be on duty 10 hours a day. Its all highway so i should be able to keep my speed up as long as its not so heavy i get killed on the hills.

It's going to take you more than 4 1/2 hours from Carlisle to Syracuse, especially in winter. It's a good 3 1/2 hours in a truck to Bingo, without hitting traffic in Scranton. What do I know though, I only ran out of Mechanicsburg for a few years. Mech to P&C foods was 5 hours without stopping, with no traffic jams.

Well then, i guess 11 hours on duty per day....i figured i could maintain 65 for most of it and 60 for the rest. Its 520 miles door to door to door...If i can average 60 its 8.5 hours, but yea traffic could drop my average down. I'll be running it 6 days a week so im sure I;ll figgure it out soon enough lol.

You'll be fine although from your posts In guessing you ain't been up n down 81 much&if you say you get killed on the hills better figure on using all 11 to make the turn--&w/d-h and pre/posts etc prolly gonna be 12-12 1/4 a day--&ya just might wanna put a fresh flasher in b4 u start......
Cuz since im guessing you haven't run it--Carlisle to Syracuse is uphill--Both Ways---LMAO

Lol i know it is uphill both ways lol. But the doubles should be decently light from what they told me. Also, my motor is doing better now...i had some fuel problems that were making me get killed worse on hills. Since I get a decent rate I can afford to use my right foot a bit more to.
