Need more HP and MPG out of my 06 c15 acert

    You can get good results with 550hp hh program and the right fls and fts settings. I have done several .4 to .6 mpg gains. Also the m100463 donaldson mufflers are good for .1 to .2 mpg gains. Get the valves set also.

    That's what I suggested in post #3, minus the fls and fts settings which wouldn't be hard to change later.

    no not just got to know the right ones. Now I am not saying that a pdi or bullydog tune could do better I am just stating what I have done.

    I have friends with the PDI stage 1 on there Acert and their getting 6 + on mpg hauling pretty heavy loads

    Just don't forget to check the simple things first. I.E CAC and all boots a small leak makes a big difference, you cant go by the gauge. They can still hold boost with a leak. check fuel pressure and I have seen it in spec but have a suction restriction causing low flow. Basically make sure your engine is in top shape before tuning. Tuning will help one that needs a little attention. but tuning an engine that is right will put a big smile on your face.
