does it keep the motor warm? can you run it during the winter to like warm up the motor after vacation or do you have to still plug the truck in?
-

I just wanna say this. Prime is a great company hands down. Come focused with a can do atyitude. Be honest. Be on time everyday is a interview. Look for trainers talk to people so when your done orientation you can ride out. Forget anything you thought you knew about TRKING. Swallow your pride and listen. Learn as much as you can come back take your test test and start tnt. It's a simple process but you have to be motivated

The APU provides power and a/c while you're parked, and there's a bunk heater to keep you warm. While Prime doesn't have an idle time limit, they do have a minimum fuel economy bar you have to reach every week... idling counts toward that. If you don't meet the minimum, its counseling, maintenance if necessary, more training, and finally... adios! Bottom line... you don't idle because it cuts into the fuel available for getting down the road.
