What a great question at the perfect time. I need to get out and walk around this little town and get some fresh air. I'll be away from this site for a bit, but I want to read and respond to everyone...
UPDATE: There's a gal who lives in Tacoma who is traveling (in her personal vehicle) to Denver after her dentist's appointment on Monday. She and I have been emailing each other since last night, figuring if we would be a good fit. Turns out, we have a lot in common, including issues with our SO's. I gave her this here url so she could get an understanding of who I am and why I'm here. I think I found a way home!!!![]()
Navajo Express has just abandoned this trainee in a tiny town 1500 miles from home!

I agree because the battle is not over.PJ still needs to get home.I would like to believe what goes around comes around but its not often something bad happens to companies.
JustPj Thanks this. -
Bottom-Line here........nobody gets tossed out under adverse weather conditions.
The Challenger, Marksteven, pattyj and 1 other person Thank this. -
Can anyone tell me if Jeff Digby is related to Don Digby???
KH -
Here's the facebook link again: https://www.facebook.com/NavajoExpress
Digby's secretary, Maureen is at x0713 (she takes his calls). The phone number can be found at Navajo's CSA overview page: http://ai.fmcsa.dot.gov/SMS/Data/carrier.aspx?enc=wGtMqXqBzyQsJYCd2tsBjg== A message for Don Digby, Jr can be left at Maureen's extension, or so Dispatch told me. She doesn't identify herself but there is a voicemail there.
I'd post the phone number but I think it's against TTR's rules. The CSA is worth looking at: Unsafe Driving 91.5%, HOS 29.1%, Vehicle Maintenance 62.3%. 68 speeding 6-10, 28 speeding 11-14, 16 speeding 15 or over, 14 speeding construction zone, 42 failures to obey traffic control device. 762 trucks.
91.5% Unsafe Driving!!
Shouldn't Navajo's shippers be reminded of that??Last edited: Dec 7, 2013
Lux Prometheus and JustPj Thank this. -
This here isn't any different then companies leaving you stranded wherever then get you for abandonement.PJ is getting a taste of what this industry is like.It does get more tolerable with exp though.
JustPj Thanks this. -
Maybe we should flood the 800 number for abandoned equip and let them know how we feel about them abandoning a driver.....,i,m sure they answer that number
Gearjammin' Penguin, JustPj, Lux Prometheus and 1 other person Thank this. -
It will be interesting to see what plays out Monday morning when they discover stuff on their FB page. I think I did enough with the message I sent them. Patti's done a terrific job with her postings. Would be nice to see others comment on it.
