If you have inverter installed on your truck..a microwave is great to have. Those lunch box cookers are great too. When my husband and I teamed I used one all the time...put a small roast with veggies and what ever seasoning you prefer in a crockpot bag or a turkey roasting bag and put it in one of the lunch box cookers and let it cook all day its ready by dinner time and you will have a great homemade meal for less than what you would pay at a truck stop. Crockpots are good on a truck too, just make sure you get one with a lid that can be fastend down...Walmart sells them for a reasonable price. Use your imagination.

I've been sitting on this one since I started reading this thread, waiting for an appropriate time to post this. I guess this is the time:

I saw this on the show "I Want That!" first, as a compact way to do breakfast in a tight kitchen, and it's really neat. I could see this being used in a truck, too--except, maybe, the coffee pot, which needs to be one that's sealed with a carafe locked into place. But, with a stationary truck, that can work.

It may be -30 out there, but there's a Mexican Fiesta going in in here! But no Coronas tonight.

Where the h3ll are you?? I'm north of DFW, we're socked in by solid ice, and the entire Metroplex is shut down because of the ice. It's just 25° right now, tho...

Estevan SK. The wind chill warning is for mid -40's C tonight. It's a tad crisp you might say.

Ach! Laddie, it's only cold if you pee and it freezes before it hits the ice.

I saw this for sale at the large petro in Atlanta, GA. I wanted it but it was too many watts for a company truck. O/o should handle this just fine. I think it was 1500 watts.

We were discussing V8 juice the other week. I didn't check to see if they had the low sodium varient at costco, but I bought a bunch of cans from the commissary on the military base.

The low sodium version tastes way better. And I don't feel dehydrated for hours after drinking one like I do with a normal V8. I highly recommend the stuff. I drank mine at room temperature and it was enjoyable.
