I chose Melton over Boyd/WTI and Jordan. Pretty happy with my choice. Equipment is top notch, they reimburse us up to $8 for cash paid showers, $40 tarp pay. It was a no brainer for me.

I registered for my CDL class yesterday, and guess what? Ozark does send a recruiter to my school. I think he will be there on January 13. Getting my list of questions ready.

One question: on the front of the short application form, among other things it says, "Sold truck assigned after program completion" What do they mean by "sold" truck??? Maybe it's a misprint?

Finally got through my training and into my own truck last week. They put me in one of the volvos. Hey Flatbedn, you weren't in 6880 at Ozark were you?

I'm pretty happy with the truck so far. Feels bigger inside than the Columbias. We'll see how long that happiness lasts when I run through some real mountains with it. Poor thing seems kinda gutless after being in a Cascadia with my trainer.

    Anyway, good luck with Melton.

Nah I was in 6906 and then my cascadia was 1287. I think 6880 was a lady's truck when I left. If you see a cascadia with Yankees decals on the hood that was mine.

Btw the volvos will out pull the freight liners all day in the hills.
