I think you are reading WCP wrong, I believe he is just stating that when people ##### about their cheap freight it is T/S, as THEY accepted the load for that price.

As far as I know WCP is still an O/O 2009 Pete 379 I believe. He doesn't have much choice on the new truck/retrofit, as he lives in Cali.

The CARB nazis are going to get smacked down by the Federal Courts. The lawsuits have started, just as I predicted. This unconstitutional nonsense is going to cost Cali a lot of money they don't have. I love it!

I hate to break this to you....But Cali is using it's "1oth Amendment Rights" to enforce CARB....Any and all lawsuits to eliminate "CARB '14" will face a tough challenge.....
Now if SCOTUS rules that "CARB 14" is Unconstitutional.....Then lawsuits from those like me who upgraded to be compliant will ensue......

Oh...I'd say for the average O/O that would mean the cost of that rig......Between $120k and $150K depending on when they bought their new rig......

Extrapolate that....And Cali will go broke trying to settle.....

All CARB had to do is keep delaying the enforcement and stalling on the law suits to minimize the impact to the state government.

They could use the truth to help them by stating the technology is not working as well as planned.

They could pass the liability to the manufacturers.

They'll get in line to sue Cali as well....

CARB used their 10th amendment right when ruling inside CA. Since the Federal government regulates INTERSTATE commerce, they have no 10th amendment right to do so. If you are California based with CA intrastate authority, you aren't going to have a lawsuit, as CA has the right to regulate intrastate commerce.
