Cheyenne is still wyoming!!!!! Ha ha. Yes. The "rooshin' Russians". A few years back I was coming on from the Pilot in Laramie and this girl in a pickup lost it, I think she said she was texting (I'd love to know who her cell phone provider was to get service in Wyoming) and she flipped that truck about 10 times. I saw it happen, and pulled off to the shoulder on the ramp. Cars slowing down, and the Volvos were full speed ahead. Almost killed me when they almost hit the girl's pickup on the left SHOULDER, while I was pulling her out of the truck. I'll never forget that.

Don't forget the Little America down in Flagstaff.

Everyone gripes about 70, but unless the weather is atrocious over the hill, I'd rather deal with that than all the idiots on 80. I can turn Big Springs to Beaver on 70 in the same or less time, and I could run Provo Canyon, which shortens the north route a bit. To each their own, but I'll take the scenery, the 60 fewer miles, and the lighter traffic every time.

See, 80 across Wyo. is like 40 across NM, if you can't do 75 mph minimum, then you need to find a different road. I like running 80, generally the only thing faster than me is
    1. the wind
    2. the chicken trucks
    3. bullracks
    4. the tourists

the rooshin' Russians don't bug me, until they start weaving, then it makes it hard to pass them

cell phone service in Wyoming all depends on how near the antennalopes are to the highway. There used to be a billboard near Laramie with a herd of antelopes with little antenna attached to their antlers, hence antennalopes.

Maybe you've been lucky on which days you been on it. Get in the rush of Mon or Fri trucks to/from Cali and it gets rather amusing and annoying.
