You would need a wiring diagram, and splice an interrupter switch into the marker light wire. You might hurt your vehicles value as well.

Just flash your hazards a couple times or you can alternate left and right signal lights. Easy and free.
DsquareD Thanks this. -
Flashing brake lights is a bad idea. They should only be used for their intended purpose.

Turn signals or hazards are easy.
You could also add some lights that go to a switch in the dash.
Adding the switch to the dash will not hurt anything if it is done correctlycrb, ShadowCat and CondoCruiser Thank this. -
You can add the interrupt switch very easily, or as mentioned use the flashers, braking might cause the trucker to panic therefore causing other issues and I am certain he/she would've preferred a no thank you in that case
As far as making a PT Cruiser less valuable......... Can't happen!!!CondoCruiser and crb Thank this. -
Back in the day you were looked down upon for hauling them (still are) so they through a lot of extra lights on their trucks to up they're "social status" just wait till we get to talking about chicken sticks (bumper guides) we call those chicken sticks because the driver is worried about taking out his bumper.
Any extra light on a truck is considered a chicken light. They're actually more of a headache than what they're worth if you get a dead short and it isn't wired properly but that bight glow going down the road at night is a thing of beauty.DoneYourWay, TwinStickPeterbilt and ShadowCat Thank this. -
