Trust in obama, i am sure he see's this as an issue already, and if truckers unite, he will address it. he is true blue in my opinion. and i like to think i read people very well. Obama is the man.
I hope tomorrow brings great events. i matter of factly am looking forward to it. i got a fridge in the truck full of groceries and looking for my next adventure. even if it means parked in the middle of Interstate-80 in southern wyoming.
I welcome it, bring it on, OPEC started this, lets finish it. for once lets act like a brotherhood. let the raggit heads go home broke. and americans take back whats theirs by right.
i got my Camera, my notebook, and full tanks of expensive fuel. let it go for something good this time rather than hauling cheap freight, for nasty shippers and truck predjudice states. Idle and live on the side of the road, with anner in hand, and do something positive, one and for all. make a difference so the sun can shine again. let it take only one word, or one desire, to shut her down, and let the statment decide.
When i was a kid i remember thinking about what it would be like to roll them big rigs down the night highways, i remember truckers stopping to help us kids and my mom when we were broke down. white knights they was called back then. once n a while i see one here and there. i listen to the old timers tell the tales as well. 7 years now running rg, i see hope. for what it once was. it makes me warm inside. I for one have nothing to lose. and everything to gain, not by hauling cheap freight, or running tired, but merely to be a part of something huge. this is it boys and girls.
cheery ho, and stay safe on them roadsides. be courteous, and cordial. respect others and them to you. spread the word. and believe, i believe, in you as well as myself. -
