Just saw Tyson truck on its side mile marker 184, I44 a half mile from Rolla MO! Too Dark to get a picture.

 

I've been doing a lot of reading on the trucks JCT has available. Trying to get a jump start on my truck decision if I get approved. Sounds like the new Evolution have been getting good numbers. Leaning that way if there is one available.

Well, I finshed 2 of my 5 drops. I have a drop tomorrow 40 miles west of Dayton, Ohio. So I parked at this Love's in Dayton. Real nice parking and it looks brand new. So I go in and it is dead in here. A lot of parking left over and all the showers available. So I asked the guy if this is new and he says yeah a week or 2 old. Then it clicks. I bust out loud and ask him . IS THIS THE NEW LOVES WHERE Y'ALL SHOT THAT DRIVER????? Keep in mind I just blurted this out loud and look around and the few drivers that are in there look at me then at him funny. He nods his head and says they are not aloud to talk about it. LOL Well I guess it should be pretty safe now since they are already under investigation. LMAO. It will be a nice quiet night.
Only 3 more stops and this load will be done. It has been nothing but snow and ice and single digit temps with wind chill below zero. Hopefully I am clearing the way for Sharpp to come through. I tend to always be where the bad weather is. I will have to idle tonight for the 1st time because it will be 7 degrees and -8 windchill. Trailer brakes are off because they got stuck this morning with warmer temp than tonights. I am gonna idle because the tractor did not like the cold temps this morning. It was getting horrible fuel mileage until she was warmed up for about an hour. Dont ask me why but the scan gauge does not lie. I hope all yall have a great night and drive safe.
