Just last night running acrost hwy 30 in Ohio
It was late. I was tired and needed a nap.
Check the pilot out... FULL. While pulling into pilot, I noticed a
bunch of trucks on otherside of road, in what appeared to
be a "lot" behind a gas station. BOY was I wrong!
After pulling in, I see a cluster eff of stuck trucks , pretty much a minefield for a truck. On packed down like concrete fresh snow. While trying to get outta there without stopping, I was trying to squeeze out, and became stuck myself.
Had like 6 inches from front of my truck to trailer in front of me, and about 6 in on drivers side of my trailer to the front fender of a Central truck parked where he shouldnt have been..
Ended up using a claw hammer and a screw driver to bust threw the packed down snow in front of my drives and behind them. Eyed up the situation a bit and went for it. Put it in Hi range/low and walked that thing outta there without tearing my hood or Centrals off.
Stupid...stupid place to even drive into, but I was commited so not much choice. Im even suprised I got it out on my own
OK experienced drivers, post your most recent rookie mistake!

Thank you!!! This past April, in Ohio @ Zanesville, the Loves was full and I saw across the bridge trucks parked up on the hill behind Denny's. ok. Apparently they went a different way. Because I got stuck and the guy who offered me his illegal spot that I turned down came up to pull me out. Cause I was stuck stuck. Don't ever let your brain mislead you. Lol.

Those other trucks were kind of like decoys...
.... had a little "off roading" myself a couple days ago when I missed a turn into a Walmart, thought I made the road that would go into the back... WRONG... there's a Dead End sign and the Walmart is a block off to my right...
... so I stop on this little road, turn on the 4 ways, and start consulting Google Maps...
... then a helpful guy in a 4-wheeler pulls up next to me and says, "No problem, there's a truck turn around at the end!"...
"Great!" I think, and I proceed to the end of the 1/2 mile road... to find ice encrusted NARROW dirt roads going steeply downhill into a lot that has two trucks parked way down below the road, and those trucks had seen far better days...
... I get out and walk both the driveways, nearly slipping on my backside several times on the thick ice. I finally decide a course of action that involves "gunning it" across a frozen lawn (that had truck tire tracks across it) at the bottom in order to get turned around and head back up the lesser of two evils. Barely made that climb back up the hill.
So much for helpful 4-wheelers... -
Heres my best one....when I first started I got a preplan with a bonus offer of 150.00....shoulda known something was up right there. Pick it up..deliver. the load was already late when I got dispatched on it so it was really late when I arrived...they rejected the load...called my dm and asked if she wanted me to wait till morning and redeliver.she said no its been resceduled...so I drove 200 miles to a terminal to t call it. And put my truck in the shop
Its waz me who waz supposed to rediliver. That next morning....never got the bonus. But I was on time..lol
Im my defense she never dispatched me again on the load...but I found out its not a good idea to drive 200 milez on your own lmao -
