Is anybody here working for USAL? I am interested to know more about their pay structure and lanes.

I recently was told, that they have a mixture of milage pay plus a certain amount paid per car loaded. If you are loading a backhaul, the amount paid per car seems to be considerably higher.

I contacted the company but they have not been very helpful so far. Does somebody have some first hand info?

They have ads on indeed.com all the time along with a host of. Other job sites. They say they pay 56 cpm -63 all miles it's a pay for performance operation. Really not sure how much your looking at a paycheck but seems to me you will have to hustle

I saw these ads too and didn't find them very impressive. But what the ads are not saying, is that you get paid a certain amount per car you load on top of it. These rates vary depending on where you are assigned and what kind of load it is. It is my understanding that backhauls pay the most.

I am trying to find out if it is possible to get my feet into a lucrative lane. I am looking for a paycheck in the low six digits.

As far as the hustle goes, in my experience it is never a walk in the park to make that kind of money.

Taken off their website...Our primary customer base consists of OEM manufacturing plants, railhead terminals and vehicle processing centers. Current customers include Gulf States Toyota, Toyota Logistics Service, Honda, Kia, Mercedes-Benz, Subaru, Volkswagen, Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics for Nissan and individual dealerships.

What more do you need to know? It appears they are working out of assembly plants and railheads with some used traffic thrown in. I suggest you contact them and convince them they can use you, as opposed to the attitude of what can they do for me. All of the shippers they list are very particular in how their traffic gets moved. They don't just give it to anyone.

Do you work for USAL? I currently work for Hansen and am thinking about switching to another company.

Hansen is a cool company. I live in Cali and will be moving to Dallas/Fort Worth area soon. Just weighing my options. I know the South has a few good companies to work for.
