I spent hours in back ups on I-5 in OR on Saturday. I wish people would just stay home instead of making a mess on the roads. If we had that kind of traffic going to AK it would take 3.5 weeks to get there instead of the 3.5 days. I had to laugh to myself when everybody would run on the ice in the right lane instead of the nice snow pack in the left lane. I tried the brakes, jakes and throttle to break loose, but could not do it.

Right now I am sitting in Quartzsite killing time to go to Chandler tonight.

A cute Petercar with an Aussie type Roo bar :yes2557: Just thought I would confuse you all this morning lol.

JJ has been running pretty hard this week and looks like it may just be a good week....which is a good thing since we will be home for xmas.

Running across 30 in Indiana today, pretty much sucked. Snow packed almost all the way. Ohio was only a little better.

We made two trips into the Northeast this week and threaded between the storms perfectly on both. Sometimes it pays to be lucky

I would've never dreamed, that I would see elk, in IL, but I did the other night. Saw 4 of them off of I 80. Ride thru IN, was much better this time, than the other night. Wonder what the NE is going to surprise me with?

Have hauled a lot of meat, but this is the 1st time I've ever done it without using the reefer. It's a load of Omaha steaks, and it's all packed in dry ice. Taking it to UPS in MA, and think it's going to be flown overseas.

I bet it would make you take a double take when you saw them. Maybe it was Santa's reindeer lurking around.

When you haul them in dry ice how long do you have to get to final destination?
