It's been said many times on the forum, but bears repeating:
1. Put EVERYTHING on your application! Prime isn't going to hand you the keys to what could be a million dollars' worth of equipment and cargo without doing a complete background check on you. Credit report, DMV, state and local police... everything.
2. You will fill out another app on the first day of orientation. This is the "for real" application, since it's the one you sign. However, the purpose of this app isn't for them to decide to hire you (they already have made that decision); it's really an honesty test. You forgot that you had worked six weeks at Toys B Fun at Christmas 2009 when you filled out your online app? Put it here. Parking ticket in 2011? Put it here. Prime already knows about these things; they want to know if you are willing to admit to them.
When I went in for the "day one" interview, I was asked about a speeding ticket from California that I hadn't listed. I told him that the app said to list only those within the last xxx years, and this was older than that. He looked at the computer screen again, counted on his fingers (!), and then said I was right.
Full disclosure also applies to medical as well. It's better to get sent home temporarily for disclosing too much (which happened to me) than to get sent home permanently for failing to disclose something important. -
Yes, i'm willing to admit I worked a temp job while working a full time job for extra money and that I forgot to list it on the online application. I made 12 bucks an hour. I'm even willing to admit that too

What dedicated accounts does Prime have for flatbed, if any?
-
That might be a good question for a Recruiter or Fleet Manager if you have one. They want the people they put on dedicated to live close to the route for hometime reasons. It really depends on where you live to be considered, for the most part. Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Texas.. somewhere I can't remember, around Detroit, and a few others I don't really remember. These are ones I've met drivers from but I'm sure there are alot more out there.

Edit:: In your example, I'm not sure a middle name vs initial would be a problem. In my case, my DL said Mike, SSC - Michael. That was the issue with getting a TWIC.Last edited: Dec 21, 2013
crimedoc96 Thanks this. -
Does Prime pick up or deliver any freight in Montana? I'm contemplating moving there and want to know if it would be a good place to be a trucker.

Anyone hire on already with their cdl but with no experience? Do they treat you like a guy without a cdl or do they start you off differently? Looking to skip the first 4-6 weeks with $200 paychecks I have to pay back.
