    I prefer the tire chains that sit on the truck and are never used. Tire chains what are these magical devices you speak of? Are they heavy? What do they do? I'm sorry for being so stupid but my rig runs barefoot I don't even carry a set of chains...although I probably should lol.

    Not trying to start a fight, but, why do you guys who don't throw chains due to fear feel it necessary to chime in on a thread about what kind of chains are better? Seems to me that you don't have a dog in this fight and have nothing to contribute to the discussion.
