CAUTION: JIPPED on Loyalty Points at Flying J and Pilot

I had some problems when the card was just issued and it turned out the card was defective and I switched to another card and then got everything activated at the truckstop. It took them on the phone and the manager of the truckstop and bingo, everything was fixed. But, this is because I watched the receipt and seen the problem immediately.

But that is an antagonistic and not helpful position.

 

Loves has a small number of showers, if they added more showers per store this would make it a better place to fuel. I will often time pass up a loves just because as a company driver pilot/flying j showers are usually easier to get into. I know the loves in Barstow, CA is expanding the showers there, always a wait in that one too.

 

I have been cheated who knows how many times but I dont bother checking it. I know I have been cheated at loves too where my card did not go through at least once when i fueled in Oregon before going to bed, went in the next morning for my shower to see no credit, they pulled up the fuel records and gave me my points and shower.

I know there has been a couple times where I purchased over 150 gallons at pilot/flyingj and later found no points, im normally in a hurry and i dont like hanging out at the truck stops so I dont bother getting my receipts, if I lose some points ohwell. I get fuel daily sometimes more than once a day so I always have shower credits and dont worry too much. I know last week I got over 100 gallons at the pilot in Castaic, I did go inside to grab a coffee but found I had no points, the lady said check the next day since the point system might be down....

 

No wonder so many wheel holders stink like a goat. It's Pilot/Flying J's fault.

I have noticed that some card readers at the pilots are not working well, so better double check your receipts. Maybe get a new points card too, just to be safe.

 

I've had this problem with them for a while. The pump gives no error that it can't read your card or anything like that to indicate there was some kind of problem. Then you stop somewhere for a shower and it's not there and you can't pull up the receipt from the kiosk. :smt067

 

You guys need to get along,maybe share a shower from time to time..
