Does anyone have any info on sentinel transportation? Not yelling just caps on! I am trying to make a decision on whether i should go down this with them.

I'm told that they have cameras in the cab....watching the driver. Other than that....supposed to be a great place to work.

Well, it's been awhile since I drove for them (1996), but I wish I had been smart enough to stay there.

They are the child of the old Dupont system. Very strict and 60 mph trucks. Supposed to be a good job. Worth a check out by any means. I never applied cause I can't run 60.
Good luck
PS, I know some current guys, if you need more then PM me. -

So let me get this straight. A Sentinel driver hits a bump too hard, it activates a camera in the cab and sends a warning to his supervisor. Supervisor calls and says "WTF are you doing?" Driver replies he hit a bump. Super tells driver if you set the sensor off one more time you are fired!
I don't care how good the benefits are, why would anyone choose to work in this type of environment. Boarders on abusive if you ask me.Miguel562 Thanks this. -
We had Sentinel trucks into the same Lact as us down in TX. The drivers hated the cameras but I never heard a story quite like that...although it could happen. The details of how it would...or could..play out dont matter much to me. One of us can be in the truck..me...or the camera...both aint gonna happen. Obviously, I marked Sentinel off my list of companies to drive for... a while back.
Rockdoctor Thanks this.
