I only recently started, but if things remain the way they are I will probably gross 25k-30k by the end of next year with Schneider. But, I did just get a new dispatcher so, maybe things will get better. Or maybe I will get better loads. This past week I got to run 3 days with about 550 miles a day, but then it came to a crashing halt with some dumb appointment times and absurdly long live loads.

These #### ###### live loads.... they make it really hard to make a living.

I hate these stupid " how much did you make?" threads. They always turn into a big pizzing contest. It's all about trying to "one-upsmanship" the other guy.

The miles are not unrealistic, it's keeping up the pace week after week. Long haul is where the miles can be a bit more realistic as long as there is no break downs or girl friends along the way.

Since this is the internet, and people can throw around unrealistic numbers, I will say I made a million dollars this year.

Oh, and it was one of my lowest years.

If your not making at least 52k a year your in the wrong company or your not running hard enough.
By the posts you can tell what guys are telling the truth and what ones aren't.
The only year where I haven't grossed over 50k was my first year with crst. Since then it's only gotten better and better. That's cause I left crst. Haha

I think Everybody is being Honest about what they make!! Some people act like they are preaching the HOLY GOSPEL when it comes to information but you have to go back and READ THE THREAD!! They asked for dollar amounts and not the In and Out's of the Busines

So after my first year trucking I should expect to make atleast 50k? The pay is so bad and discouraging, and the only thing keeping me going is that I really don't have much else going on for me in life. And... I really do enjoy driving the truck. Rain, fog, snow, ice, mountains, the only thing that really irks me is driving in Los Angeles and parts of San Fran. I'm usually in a pretty happy mood until I open my paychecks.
