Have you ever arrived to a delivery and had to back through walls of trash 12 feet high on an alley that was only 3 feet wider than your tractor, and make a 90 degree turn? I dont know how I did it....but I got it around....I have a 265 inch wb, and will never go back there again!!!!!! Please share your delivery nightmares.....

Where is "there."
Why did it have 12 foot tall piles of trash around "it."
And why were you "there?"
Not a tanker driver, just curious. -
New Jersey. Where else would that much trash be?

Recycled Fibers on E River Rd Dayton Ohio. Drive onto the sidewalk on the left side of the road. Turn right into the second entrance continuing to make a 180 degree turn. Stay as close to the building as possible while pulling as far forward as possible. Back up to walk to trailer to the left while avoiding cars parked on the right. Pull Forward onto the scale.... After weighing back up as far as possible. move to the right along the parked cars and make a 90 degree left turn into the gate, wait for the smoker to get their dumb #####'s out of the way while you're in the middle of the turn. Continue into the yard driving though sinkholes. Squeaze into a spot between two junk trailers remembering the sinkholes so you dont hit the trailers too hard on each side. (dont worry about those trailers, they are junk anyway, just worry about your own) Sit in your tractor while a forktruck driver with the finesse of a pissed off bramha bull unloads you. For entertainment watch the looks of disbelief, frustration, and anger on the next inbound drivers face while he tries to back in. When you leave go straight through the gate to the street and repeat exercising your newfound sidewalk driving skills to get back on the scale.
I have been in a couple of docks that were tighter but I've yet to run across a place that was such a disaster from beginning to end. -

In 1984, I delivered a tanker of transmission fluid to GMC Truck and Coach, Pontiac, MI. The guard gave me directions and said that a pipe fitter would be out to help me. I backed down an alley with a 90 degree bend. A man in a sports jacket said he was the pipe fitter, and he showed me which pipe to hook my hose to. He said he would be back in an hour to sign my bills, and he went through a hole in the fence to a bar across the street. Then, I discovered I did not have enough hose to reach the pipe from the pump on my tractor. I had to pull out of the 90 degree alley and then pulled into it. I ran my hose under the tractor to their pipe which was now beyond my front bumper. After unloading, I backed out of the 90 degree alley. You know, these places were designed by college graduates.

Granted there's always more to the actual situation than what the picture shows, figured some of you'd appreciate these.
