Company driver for small fleet...18 trucks total. Supposedly I get paid 36 percent of the truck's revenue. Detention pay 18 per hr after two hrs. I am a regional driver that is home 2 to 3 nights a week and every weekend. No other pays or benefits. Is that okay?
Am I getting paid enough?

Does'nt sound too bad most that get paid on percentage is 25% and no detention. You get it after 2 hrs, can't beat that.

36 per cent is a good rate, by the number, but it obviously will be tempered by what kind of rates your company hauls for. If they haul cheap stuff it may not be so good, premuim rates, it would be real good! What other expenses do they make you pay or they pay?
