Questions about Maverick Transportation

no tarps, are you guys running hard right now or is the freight a little slow for you guys too?

 

I did not get home this week and was just passing thru last week. I think it is going to be like this thru the summer.

 

Cool deal. Was just wondering, I haven't seen as many of you guys around here in Little Rock lately.

 

Chicago is twice as good as New york to drive in any day of the week, even with the construction.

 

I am tentatively scheduled to report to Little Rock on April 6th (according to Paul). I am from the Ashland, Ky area(where Ohio, Ky & WV all come together).What are the odds that I will get a trainer from near this area?

 

I am scheduled to be at maverick on 3/23/2008 to start my training. has anyone got any advice?

 

I have lots of questions but don't know exactly where to start? I have sent my app into Maverick and talked to Amanda, she said she was sending my app off to Safety. I just would like to know how much of what you read on here is truth and how much is fiction. I don't want to give up a stable job and then be rejected for something at Maverick that came outa nowhere. HELP!!

 

I would say what is it that you might think would come out of nowhere? I take it that there is something in your past that you are worried about? What is worrying you about being rejected? I was just in your town. We deliver and pick up there.

 

No, nothing in my past that I know of. I just have been driving local for a while and I'm a little apprehensive about road test for Maverick. From what I have read they are very strict and I just don't want to make a dumb mistake and get rejected right off the bat. I know where you are talking about (Nucor Steel), I am in there everyday and see your trucks amost daily. Thanks
