I did a search in my area of all the registered sex offenders. The vast majority in my area were convicted of statutory rape. All OP had to do was have a birthday and a lover's spat. Just a thought before you organize the witch burning posse.

CRST states no felonies in the past 10 years. Swift has the same policy.

    How about Paschall?

So I guess that the majority of cases (in your area) tells you exactly what the OP did.
No w/b posse here, just someone not so blindly bleeding heart as some, who wants to wait until pertinent facts are disclosed, before making informed decisions, based on facts.
He will be facing the same "witch burning" at most employer interviews and background checks, btw.

I agree that there are folks who deserve to be on the list, and I'm not minimizing the serious and disgusting nature of these crimes or the trauma and suffering of the victims of these crimes. But the puritanical and close-minded laws that can ruin the life of someone who is in no way a criminal are equally disgusting. Same goes for many drug laws in this country.

Or are you one those folks who blindly trusts the benevolent wisdom of the judicial system.

Go to the sex offenders registry and the majority are ones who molested a child. The OP haven't given us any details and can't say that I blame him because some of us fear the worst.

Helll no, I don't trust the judicial system. It's far from "justice".
I agree with your points in cases where the justice (charges) were abused and "attached" to someone undeserving.
I simply take each crime/person on a case by case basis, and simply need to know the facts before continuing.

Simply put, if the OP mooned someone and it resulted (for some rare reason) in this (wrongful) charge/conviction, I'd be first in line to help him.
But if it came out that the OP raped a 10 year old, or something equally bad/worse, I wouldn't help him for all the tea in China.

About half of the medium to small companies out there,

    would likely hire you.

    Bang on enough doors,

    you may be surprised.

Okay, let's go straight to the worse case scenario. OP got tagged for being a pedophile. Had a kiddie pool set up in his front yard, and a bunch of candy. Hangs out at the playground. He did his time, but he got branded as a pedo. Is there a company that hires kiddie pool sickos?

BTW, Cajun I don't disagree with you. In fact, I would vote for roadside execution. But just in case we (you and I, yeah I know it doesn't happen much but occasionally I might make a mistake and get the wrong person in the crosshairs) are wrong, and this guy automatically got tagged when he turned 18, and is paying for thinking with his pickle when he was a kid,...who hires the people that got branded?
