Columbia, MO at a truck stop broken down.

I was able to pick up my load this morning at a Walmart DC. The engine was running a bit rough when I got there, and as I left I started losing power.
I made it out to I70, but only a few more miles from that point. I pulled in here and the truck is idling just fine, but the glass fuel filter is completely full.
I suspect all it needs is the fuel filters replaced, but the wait for on-road is pretty long.

Waiting for a dock for a live unload in Rancho Cucumonga, then will head to Mira Loma to turn in my truck and log into my team mate's truck. Good thing I'm getting out of this truck. Getting the dreaded EEC 61 error message at start up and the little green light is flashing on the DEF gauge even though the DEF tanks are full. I'm opting to simply not say anything and turn in the truck, let them deal with it. If I report the issue they'll want me to stay assigned to the truck until it is repaired. No thanks...

lepton...i'd put it in the shop for repairs. let the shop know you're turning the truck in. no reason to leave it for the next driver to deal with.

I turned it in and let them know about the issues. Hopefully they will take care of them before the next driver gets the truck, I looked up the EEC 61 and that sounds like it might need warranty repair. Parking in the hot sun as I was transferring my stuff into the team truck in Mira Loma the urine smell came back pretty strong inside the cab, I also let them know about that and certainly hope they take care of it. I put an entire bottle of Lysol disinfectant to use in there and used Febreez daily, but now that it's in hot weather.... oh boy am I glad I was running cold routes these last two weeks.

Dump an entire bottle of Howes onto your tanks and it should clear up. My truck did exactly what you described and a bottle of Howes cleared it up. Yes, it was COLD!!!

Just off I-40. To the north is Goffs, CA and the south Essex, CA. I am right in the middle. Up to a whopping 6.2 now, and that was the long down incline from Kingman

Took a nap in the new team truck, top bunk, in Mira Loma. Waiting for our first dispatch and likely won't be until tomorrow. Woke up and walked around the lot in the evening...

... and there's my unit, all cleaned and "ready to go" in the line for new truck assignments. I find it hard to believe they did a full on inspection, let alone address the issues I raised, in an afternoon.

Word to the wise, when you are assigned a new truck you need to REALLY go over it with a fine tooth comb and still expect there to be issues. Unfortunately as part of the process you aren't allowed to road test it (at least I wasn't).
