Might want to double check. Progressive has 500+ radius meaning you can drive over 500 miles. Not sure why they worded It that way.

Here is quote from progressive website.
"Progressive has a radius of operation restriction of 500 miles for Primary Liability. This limitation helps us provide superior owner operator insurance products and services for regional and local truck drivers. Keep in mind that we calculate our radius of operations as the crow flies instead of in road miles, so 500 miles can actually cover a fairly large area. However, Physical Damage trucking insurance coverage does not have a radius restriction. If you operate as a long-haul Motor Carrier, Progressive may not be able to provide your Primary Liability coverage. We might be able to provide your Physical Damage – and you might be able to save some money."
    regardless of the state.
    Did I understand it wrongly?

Very sorry to hear about the loss of your son, I very happy to hear though, that you and your wife are recovering together, I pray all of this works out for the both of you. Congratulations on building a business from the ground up and, congratulations on the sale of said business.

If I had the money, I would buy a new truck and trailer as well but, I don't so I wait. I have 5 years of experience and for 5 years I have been researching on what I need to do to be successful at being an O/O. You do have business knowledge so, that part is taken care of and is the most lacking among most new start ups. I wish you the best and pray, you keep us updated.

Sorry for taking so long to reply. Been quite busy.

You probably read it right. They do have stepped coverage. Minimum being 50 miles which is what I used when a pizza delivery driver.

There is a within 500 miles also. I talked to an agent and he set me up with unlimited radius. Was thinking though. It might be different for semi.

    nawarra1 Thanks this.
