They'll have you carry hoses, climb to the top of the tank, time your movements, check your heartrate, etc...Basically, if you're 400 lbs and pretty much just a steering wheel holder who grazes at buffets three times a day, you'll fail, but most guys pass...And, if you do fail, just get on Nutri System or Medifast for six months, lose a hundred lbs and learn how to eat, and you'll be able to do anything. Most likely, you'll be fine.

    BDJ Thanks this.

So I assume if your 400lbs.. your just a steering wheel holder? That makes not a lick if sense. I know 400 pound guys who work circles around little skinny guys who sit around all day being about fat people. Just because im big doesn't mean I can't work. Why can't I be big and work hard? I find your statement offensive sir. I find people who bash big guys and assume we all are 15000 calorie a day, lazy and worthless people, to have a one track, simple minded way about them. Please don't bunch a group of people into one single category that just demeans our character.

Then you'll pass the test if your body can handle your extra weight, but, if it cannot, there are avenues you can pursue that will help you get that weidht off...without making too much of a lifechange.

You guys that work for A&R. I called recruiting today and the lady told me that you guys have a bonus system that affects your raises, which is fine. But she told me that a new idle and fuel mileage percentage is now being calculated into the bonuses. I am about to jump ship and was really looking into the company but I hate playing the idle game. She couldn't tell me much about it. I am not trying to start an idle/not idle debate. I just want some more info on this new policy. This is a major deal breaker for me.

I wouldn't worry about it, its only a lousy $100 bucks a month so after tax your lucky if you'll get $60 !! I went from starting pay to top pay within 2 months. Your terminal manager puts in for your raise.

Yeah, I don't care about the bonus but I want this to be the last job I have in I can. Obviously, raises will be important.

Superior does not have an idle policy. Idle all you want and it does not affect your pay. And we still get raises. Just got one in 2012 then again in 2013.
