I have the Tel-Tek gauges also, they work great. I have gone thru several high end liquid filled gauges. I probably have 400,000 miles on the Tel-Tek fuel pressure gauge.

Like others have said don't go with the factory gauge.

Stewart Warner makes a mechanical gauge that reads from 10-200PSI. If you want to run it into the cab, get an Isolator fitting kit. That way all of the Fuel Side of the gauge will remain in the engine compartment and an inert side will go into the cab.

Would someone explain to me what an isolator is when you are referring to it for a fuel gauge. I have never heard of this.

a mechanical gauge has the fluid go all the way to the gauge. The isolator will keep the fuel from entering into the cab incase it wants to spring a leak one day. It's just much safer.

Why would you need a 200 psi gauge when there is less than 40 psi in the system you are measuring?

What fuel system has less than 40 psi?

I run a autometer electric gauge that only goes to 100 psi. It sometimes pegs it past 100 but only when the fuel is cold otherwise it runs at about 95 while cruising at 1500 rpm.

Ok, so is the stock gauge paired with an isolator? The reason I mentioned 200psi is due to the fact the stock gauge reads to 150psi. So if 200 is available in the same diameter for less than the 150psi, why not right? I was just going to plumb the Stewart Warner w/the stock hardware if it accepted the fitting.

Got the Stewart Warner 82325. Plumbs right in. Fitting is same thread. Oem 379 fitting on the gauge is male flare fitting. The SW is more inverted flare or cut straight across but is worked no leaks. Fits right in factory spot.
