I don't pay tolls. If my ez pass doesn't work at a toll booth the company will get a bill in the mail. Usually costs them a lot more than the toll. I just roll through the fast trak lane. I've searched and searched and cannot find a logical reason why I should pay toll for a companies freight as a company driver.

well if i do the same im sure my company will get mad maybe kick my ### out

I would ask for a petty cash fund, tolls can get pretty expensive, especially if you're heavy -
i have I-pass OKpass, sunpass, the tx pass ok the okpass. I dont run anywhere that i actually need to pay cash. That being said, most tolls are available online. Figgure out the route your goign and then look it up. Going to NYC and back cost a lot more then tolls in KS. That being said, I norm have 300 bucks cash on hand for emergency use and tolls.

This is where your map skills come in.Get yourself a truckers atlas.Plan your route and if one of your interstates is highlited in green, thats a toll road.I also think your dispatcher can help you on the cost.Or just get a cash advance for $60.00,that should be enough.Unless you'll be going to the east coast, then have $200.00 on you.
luvtotruck Thanks this. -
Just about any state you drive through that has Tolls also has a Website that will tell you the amount of the tolls and it will normally list an Entry plaza and exit plaza so you can calculate it on your own with the amount of axle's you have... -
thx buddy that really helpful i try to do it online but it doesnt come up with anythingpattyj Thanks this.

If you going to the East coast. If you are going to running 95 or Mass turn pike Jersey bike. If you are going to running over NYC bridges. Just get a cool 300 dollar cash advance from employer and that should take care it. If it is less you are ok. If you going to OKlahoma 44 all the way to okie city from missouri get 40 dollars advance. Its 16 or or 17 at the 2 toll booths in Oklahoma. Now if you running 44 all the way to wichita falls, tx. get a 60 dollar advance.
PA turn pike get a 200 advance
illinois not sure. er t
Florida get a 100 or more if you going all the way to Miami. but 50 if you are going to Orlando. Always over estimate. It's better then under estimate.
Indiana and Ohio get 100 should cover both
But again I been on ezpass for for almost 4 years so the rates I'm sure have went up
Ks 70 is less then 20. 35 in Kansas is about 20. I could go on. You will figure it out dude. You shouldn't ever have to take a texas toll road. So just go around those. Experience will teach you my friend. Oh ya if you going east from the frisco area think there is a 25 dollar toll that caught me by surprise. We back quiet. -
