Im really angry about my tarps being stolen. I kept them the same way a ton of guys do , strapped to the deck.
How do the rest of you guys keep them from being stolen?

After having some stolen, I now only buy gaudy colors. I thought about purple even. Running a chain with a lockable binder will keep them on your deck. Parking unattended for a few days? Park your drives on top of them. Boxes will help as well, but people break into boxes as well.

I keep my tarps up against my step with 2 straps over them, one is a cable strap with a lock. Ive lost several to theft, but since using the cable lock so good so far. Crooks are lazy!

fourtycalglock is right. If you don't want to spend the money on a lock, park your trailer on top of them. Companies will charge a driver for not protecting or securing Company property. We are all adults ... be responsible with other people stuff.

    Heres a good question too......

Where and How do you guys "Wash" your tarps? You know they get very dirty, salty and nasty after a few dozen uses...

Also..You guys that have the luxury of running those all aluminum trailers.....Do you Guys keep that aluminum looking shiny by rubbing them out?

I never see it.....Then after a few years..They look Dull and "Old"..

Wash the tarps while on a load. Use citrus based acid on the trailers when you go to the Streakin Beacon or other truck wash.

Its my tarps and equipment! ouch that hurts when they get stolen, As far as washing and repairs when I get to the house I stretch them out and power wash them. If I cant get them washed while they are on the load
