Ron, I would buy it but I can not. good luck and you will find someone that will pay your price. Is that motor CARB 09 compliant? If not could you get her to those standards?

I drove by the MHC Greeley CO KW dealer yesterday. I don't think I've ever seen their lot so full and crowded with trucks.

I think its that bad right now. O/Os are going bankrupt left and right. They can't afford their trucks any more with the price of fuel where its at.

Don't count on it. If you lease to a company with O/Os and company trucks guess which ones will get the better paying freight?

They could have, but I don't remember from just driving by.

According to their inventory they don't, but I find that hard to believe that they don't have ANY.
You can do a detailed search at www.truckpaper.com

A friend of mine saw this truck recently for sale in MT some where.

Well at this point I'm not selling the "Old Bull", but yes a retro-fit can be done but I have to 2013 to do so. CARB has figured out that they don't have the resources or policy clarification to enforce the "Law". The original time table was:
    • 2008 retrofits on all pre-2007 engines or re-power the trucks
    • 2010 all new trucks sold in CA equipped with DPFs and Automatic transmissions
    • 2015 all pre-2002 models off the roads in CA
Well that isn't taking place now for a variety of reasons.

I'm running the Pete and while it's making me money I'll save my nickels and dimes to purchase a new rig.

The same kid called again and offered me $20K for it. Why do these guys think that we're all so stupid. I told him I'm not selling it now so he asked me what will it for me to sell it. I told him $25K and he's was like "Oh, that's more money..uh, I don't know..let me know if you still want to sell it later ok?"

I have a buyer for my Ranco It's going for $30K. Hopefully I tug her out to the state line Friday morning. That'll be nice payment on the flatbed yup...
I hope the guy buying it gets more use out it than I did.

$30K will go a long ways on a flat.

    Congrats on selling it.
