My bad didn't realize this was a Schneider post..
-
Starting pay is 30 com for inexperienced, looking between 2100 and 2800 miles per week on average spending on how smart you work and how often you come home.
-
Or .35 if you go bulk.
-
thanks, has anyone went through their apprenticeship program?
-
If you mean the military apprentice program then yes. All it does, literally, is pay you extra money every month. The VA calls it OJT training.
-
thanks, yeah that's what I meant, how long does it usually take for them to process the paperwork for the military apprenticeship program?
-
Most of the wait is the VA itself. It takes them a long time.
-
Thanks, makes sense after all the military/government is "famous" for their hurry up and wait policy lol

Miles can really vary. I got jammed up on short runs the entire month of December, and they would span 2 days. Hard to earn when a 285mi run live loads at 11am today, takes 4 hours, and you have a hard live unload appointment at 4pm tomorrow. Since the first of the year, miles got better; longer multi-day runs, only spending dock time at one end or the other of the trip, etc. I have had a few days where it was a 270, 465, etc. but I was able to get them on and off all in one day.
