Truck Owners ANGRY and Scared Over Fuel Costs

Hey out here in California we are shooting for a May 1, 2008 (Take a weeks vacation and spend time with your family) shutdown in Protest of the rising fuel prices. A shut down by cars and trucks alike DO NOT BUY ANY FUEL OF ANY KIND FOR A WEEK and stop supporting the oil companies. I have been handing out flyers too.
This has to stop somewhere and now is the time.
Let America realize that Trucks really do move America!!

I've been super busy this week so I havn't read a whole lot of it but I was just looking at the post counts since I didn't recognize allot of the names and wow. So many are under 10 or 2 which I assume were probably among there first posts when they got here.

 

Now if you really want to stop the fuel price from raising more this what you got to do. GET ALL THE DEMOCRATS OUT OF OFFICE!!!!

Why I say this? Proof of this thinking is since the Democrats has been in control of Congress and the House, Fuel prices has been raising. During the 2004 election when Kerry was taking the lead the Oil prices was raising. Once he officially lost they dropped back down. Also if you been following what is going on in the White House the Democrats has recently added a new Tax, yes they are increasing the Tax on FUEL, so guess what? Going to be HIGHER...

The Proof is out there you got to look. You can strike till the Cows comes home, and the Fuel price will continue to raise.

 

You need to be a little more clear on this supposed new tax. A lot people claim things about Dems or Reps but don't really know what they are talking about. We haven't had any increase on our fuel taxes so what are you talking about?

 

Oh give me a break.... I've been unemployed since the prices have been rising. Mabey it's my fault.

oil per barrel went down to 100.00 to day on spot market-- Now watch, do you think it will go down at the truck stops---dont believe it---why reduce oil when you can get more for less---
You know the old saying---it always goes up but never down---

the next few days should be interesting????

And as was stated, we had all better pull together and come up with a solution or a lot of us are going to bite the dust...
