Cheap Headache Rack?

Hate to bust your bubble but you won't find a cheap enclosed one unless you make it. Why can't you add boxes to the trailer for your straps and tarps?

 

I see them a lot on craigslist and at auctions. Hess auctioneers in Pa. had a nice one at there last auction that went for $200. Theres a few on ebay as well right now like this one.

Build a custom one yourself if you have a welder and tools to do so, Aluminum of course is best for weight, and actually pretty easy to weld, I fabricate / weld all my own aluminum exhaust for my oilfield engines and such with multiple angles. Or do a lightweight steel and cover with stainless steel sheeting.

 

4States sell used ones. Also, check in the pawn shops of the big slated areas, like Houston or Gary.

 

If you have time, you can put one in layaway at the Houston Chrome shop, exit785, (ask for Robert). They sell a big 7 door rack with the shelves, and everything for $3000.
