Hello all And thank you in advance for taking the time to read this.

So I have a class b cdl. I got it when i was working for the local city goverment and about 5 months after i got my cdl i was in a Dump truck by my self and i had an accident it was very minor No injurys and the lady was able to drive it across the street
with me to fill out the accident report and such . that was in july of last year 2013 So now i find my self unempoyed and was looking at getting my class A cdl Through Cr England and other company's who pay for training.

SO i apply and get through the process and get the call from the recruiter give her all the info i have tell her about the accident and she say's im all set and i'll be going to class in feb.

im excited at this point and very happy tell my wife whats up and all the fam and 10 mins later i get a call back from her and she says that because the vehicle was towed that it disqualifies me from their employemnt.

so i guess my question is What can i do about it ? Its the only thing on my record are their any companys that sponsor school that will take me with that on my mvr ?

any advice or help would be greatly appeciated.

    thank you very much

Already know what the first reasoned response will be, so i'll say it myself. Stay away from CR England, read the thread/s on them in the Bad Companies, Truck Driving School Threads.

The problem i have is that i cannot afford the tuition for a Truck driving school nor can i get a loan because of lack of credit. The thing with England was they'd pay for my school they pay for my way to get to the school pay for the hotel i'd be in and after graduation Provide me with a job.

thats what im looking for i dont care if i have to pay back the tuition after i get my cdl-a Its just the upfront cash that i dont have .

    any Recomendations?

You'd be surprised what private schools can do for you, just to get your money. I thought the same thing, but I'm getting a loan that I will have to start making payments on, 60 days after graduation. I'd shop around, and ask the right questions. A lot of people are in the same boat as you are: having bad credit, no job, or little income such as myself and apparently you too. Schools have adjusted to it, a bit - at least truck driving schools from my research. So, shop around. I've been advised to stay away from signing a contract with company paid schooling, and there a few hoops you have to jump through too (Example: transferring your CDL to your states' CDL).

Best of luck to you, and do your homework!

Stevens wants quite a bit upfront as well as the cost of transporation to and from the school when you get there. As well as changing your DL to a Texas DL when you get there. Lots of upfront cost. Being unemployed I just cannot afford all that sadly.

Thats why i was Thrilled when England Said i was approved and then Way less than happy when they called back and said the one minor accident disqualified me /sigh
