There are 2 SW plants in Greensboro. Howard st is usually a pump unload. Stage Coach Tr they pretty much do everything.

 

I believe the minimum is 23

 

You should still call a terminal manager and ask. Policies change based on need and it never hurts to get your name out there to the folks who do the hiring. Make a good first impression and they may remember you the second time you call.

 

1/15-1/18

My paint load that was supposed to be ready at 1 got pushed back to 8 PM. As is my normal procedure I ran it up to the first rest area on the WV Turnpike and shut down for 8 hours. I got there about 1:15 AM Thursday morning. I usually have about 1.5 hours left on my 11 when I get to Holland Mi. After taking a 2 hour shower break and dealing with numerous snow related wrecks in Ohio and Indiana I pretty much ate up that time cushion. I arrived at the gate too close for comfort with 2 minutes left on my 14.

I took 8 at the customer and had a much less stressful run back to High Point. I got home about 14:00 Saturday after taking an extra long break to let that clipper system I fought all the way run out of the mountains.

They had me scheduled on a N Chicago Dry bulk out and back load leaving Tuesday morning giving me a couple of days off. I started feeling bad Sunday and wound up not watching any playoff games I was puking so much. I still felt bad Monday so I called dispatch to tell them I was too sick to do the N Chicago run. First time in 6 years I have done that and I gave them 24 hours to cover it.

I started feeling better Tuesday afternoon and called to let them know I was available. They were glad to hear from me and I am back on another paint load like last week in a holding pattern until it gets ready. Going to try and turn this one in 2 nights and get home Friday.
