I've had bulk potatoes unloaded that way.
You back up to the 'dock', unhook and pull forward.
Then the entire dock platform tilts up and lifts the front of the trailer to around a 45 degree angle, and everything dumps out.
    It's cool!

    dptrucker Thanks this.

That's how they do it with potatoes as well.

It's really fun navigating those dirt roads out to the field for loading, especially when they are snow covered.
And then, trying to get there by the actual pickup time when you have no idea how long it takes.

It's funny how they can load you full, and stay just under gross weight limits. The stack was only about half the height of my trailer, and it went up and down.
But I was still able to stay barely legal both times.

Just wanted to refer you to a very nice company that makes locking fuel caps. I put a set on my western star about a year ago and no longer worry about people stealing fuel. They are a bit pricey, but worth the money compared to having to pay for 200 gallons of stolen fuel.

thanks for the tips on the antenna but I got some 3m super duty velcro trips that hold 16 lbs and I mounted it above the windshield with that, reception is working perfect now. I was looking at satellite radio parts at the truck stop and it is crazy that people pay those prices, the mirror mounted antenna for $69.99 and I see it online for $25, the magnetic one for $39.99 and you can get it straight from sirius website for $15.99 and other online places even cheaper.....truck stops just totally rip people off. I didnt even buy my radio at one, i went to Best Buy and got the siriusxm onyx plus for $72.99.

I started smelling a funky smell and some arsehole put a bag of rotting meat and a mcdonalds cup in my spare tire, no idea when and where they did it but im guessing when I slept at the truck stop the other day. I dont understand why people are such arses at times, probably "hey there is a stupid swift so lets stick it there"
