Any info on danny herman trucking (recent)

I'm a dht driver looking for someone to team drive with. My partner went solo and I been sitting at home waiting for a new one for two weeks. If you aee a herman driver and want to team please call c.j in recruiting in mountain city tn and tell him to give you my number I'm dustin and I was in truck 1304. I'm 23 years old been driving for almost 18 months 4 with dht I live a hour from mountain city tn and can stay out 20-23 days a month.

 

Nice lanes. Nice equipment. Pay package is very average. No detention pay. $30 layover pay after 36 hours. They deny it but a lot of preferential treatment exists in dispatch. The good ole boy network is alive and well at DHT. They are now on E-Logs.

 

Anything more recent on dht I'll be going to orientation on the 9th of February

 

John smoltz obviously was fired or just a bad attitude.

I've been with them going on 2 months. My brother has been here 2 years. Never once has he not made his monthly mileage bonus nor have I missed. As a team we have done more then 22k miles the first month and on track for 22k this month. I'm driving a 2015 kenworth T689. I've taken home more then 950 after taxes each week since starting and my mileAge bonus check was 965 for Dec. Great bay averaging 1200 a week take home with my bonus and I'm not in a homeboy group.. I'm brand new...

 

I'll be coming over as a solo any idea how they are making out

 

Both guys in my orientation went solo. They both are averaging 2900-3100 miles a week. The one guy did 12400 miles in December

 

One more thing, in 2 years my brother in law has never gotten detention pay. He's never been laid over more then over night. Usually from making a late drop.

Also unlike any company they will pay you on 600 miles as solo and 1000 miles as a team per day of break down. You won't find that anywhere!

 

im set up for orientation on the 19th of january seems like a pretty good company i cant find too much bad stuff on them everyone I've talked to seem cool

 

I'm coming over on the 9th of February. Could anyone there tell me the bottom bunk mattress measurements for t700 and t680. I have a memory foam mattress but not knowing the dimensions of those bunks not sure if I should bring it or wait till later.
