Easy fix for this is, when making trail drops at this place again, simply get out... crank the landing gear only 3 times, drop the air in your airbags, get back in the truck... sip some coffee a for a little bit... get back out, look to see your landing gear clearance, crank a couple more times and drop...
This does several things:
Makes it almost immpossible for the yard dog to just slam the baby, lift and add air...
Gives them some much needed exercise, they should get in on the cranking too... if at all possible park the landing gear side 2" from another trailer.
Fork lift drivers get a chance to back-up up hill if on the dock... fun fun fun. (If they give you crap, great little trick in the cold of winter... keep a spray bottle with water in it... Just spray a bunch on the trailer floor before you do the above stated drop. while opening the doors). I see no reason a-hole dock people shouldn't get in on the cranking.

Seebs: On behalf of the professional drivers out there, I want to apologize for the immature actions of this cretin and his ilk! Some people get some perverse pleasure out of sowing hate and discontent. I am sorry that you have to deal with this kind of fecal matter!
To the immature cretin: How would you feel if you found out that your immature actions caused a fall that severely injured or killed someone? What would you say to the workers family??? What if someone did something like that to YOU???77smartin, NavigatorWife, Seebs and 1 other person Thank this. -

No need to crawl under the trailer. If you're lucky, hook up, put the air lines on and drag it forward. Another reason to drop a trailer with the landing gear 1/2 inch from the ground.Wargames Thanks this. -

I would never want someone to do this just for the sake of being an a-hole... Again, where I'm from, they have this saying, "If you mess with the bull, you may get the horn".
If we truly lived in a world where everyone would treat others as they would like to be treated... all would be well. Until then, prepare yourself for the horn! -
